Allyson Harris

Staff Attorney


Ally Harris is a Staff Attorney at the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project (RMVAP). Following her graduation from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Ally earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Ally was recognized with the Provost’s Merit Scholarship for all three years. 


Ally has been a dedicated advocate for many years, focusing her efforts on the representation of individuals who have been harmed by institutional actors, both public and private. During law school, Ally interned at a civil rights firm, co-authored an article published in the Wisconsin Law Review, and spent a year in practicing as a Student Attorney in the University of Denver’s Civil Rights Clinic. This fierce commitment to advocacy allows Ally to tackle complex legal issues with compassion, skill, and nuance. 


In her free time, Ally enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her partner and their pets.
